More Storms on the Way?
It looks like we are in for another round of thunderstorms in Northern Virginia over the next several days. The forecast is calling for storms on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Due to the storms we experienced just a few weeks ago, Virginia natives are preparing for the worst as they are still recovering from power outages, downed trees, and damaged property.
AC Maintenance & AC Installation
People throughout the Northern Virginia area were without power which meant they were also without AC. We also happened to be in the middle of a heat wave the same day the storm rolled through knocking out the power.
During this time, many AC units were damaged physically and internally which led to emergency AC maintenance services the next day as well as AC installations.
Although no one is safe from a power outage, those who sought out AC maintenance or AC installation recently will be safe should another heat wave come through. We know that Virginia is notorious for its humidity which can make an 80 degree day feel like 100, and when many AC units go down because of the continued stress put on the system, or because the unit is outdated or needs maintenance, those with updated systems will be completely comfortable in their homes waiting for the heat to pass.
